Elements & Inspiration from Cambodian Temples in Our New Logo
Our new logo is more than a symbol. It bridges Cambodia’s glorious past and the future of education.
Preah Khan Library Building — Foundation of Knowledge The central icon draws inspiration from the library at Preah Khan Temple, a great learning center of the Angkor period. Historically, this space was dedicated to scholarship and the preservation of wisdom. By adopting this form, the logo honors Cambodia’s long tradition of education and intellectual excellence. It symbolizes the school as a place where knowledge is respected, nurtured, and passed on from one generation to the next — a strong foundation upon which every student builds their future.
Shield — Protection, Integrity, and Tradition The shield frames the logo as a mark of trust and stability. It represents protection, discipline, and honor — the core responsibilities of an educational institution. Within this shield, students are supported in a safe and structured environment where character, ethics, and leadership are developed alongside academic achievement. It also reflects heritage and continuity, connecting the school to timeless values that endure beyond generations.
Bayon Bird — Aspiration and Growth The bird motif, inspired by carvings from Bayon Temple, symbolizes harmony, prosperity, and elevation. It represents the students themselves — rising with confidence, expanding their horizons, and moving forward with purpose. Just as a bird takes flight, education empowers young minds to reach higher and explore greater possibilities. This logo reflects that Soriya Multilingual School is a place that honors knowledge, protects values, and inspires students to soar toward success.
