History
Soriya Multilingual School (SMS) was founded on 1 October 2021 by Ms. Sreng Soriya, a young Cambodian woman entrepreneur who believed that language education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances or geographical location.
The idea behind Soriya Multilingual School emerged from a simple but powerful vision: to help Cambodian learners develop foreign-language skills that could open doors to further education, better employment, and a brighter future. Recognizing that many learners face challenges attending traditional in-person classes because of limited time, financial resources, or distance, Ms. Soriya established an online language school to provide a more flexible and affordable learning experience.
Starting at just 19 years old, she took on the challenge of building an educational institution in an environment where some people questioned whether online learning could deliver effective, high-quality education. Rather than allowing these doubts to limit her ambition, she focused on creating a learning system that combines technology, structured lessons, teacher guidance, and continuous student support.
Our Growth and Development
Since its establishment, Soriya Multilingual School has continued to develop its teaching methods, learning programs, and student support systems. The school initially focused on providing accessible language education and has grown into an online learning platform offering Chinese and English language programs to Cambodian learners.
Through live online classes, recorded lessons, attendance monitoring, homework, assessments, and ongoing communication between teachers and students, SMS strives to ensure that online learning remains interactive, organized, and results-oriented.
As the school developed, it continued to strengthen its educational quality, teaching team, and operational management. By embracing digital learning, SMS has created opportunities for learners from different provinces and cities across Cambodia to access language education without needing to travel to a physical classroom.

In 2023, the school's founder received Third Place in an entrepreneurship competition organized at École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule, recognizing her entrepreneurial initiative and business potential.
In 2026, Ms. Sreng Soriya received the Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Award, organized by the Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association (CWEA), Siem Reap Chapter. This recognition marked an important milestone in her entrepreneurial journey and highlighted her commitment to business development, leadership, and social contribution.
